**NEW TO MY ETSY SHOP**

Little Bo Peep Bonnet

This was a customer inspired colour combo, I do take requests and will fill them as long as I have enough fabric.  I will be setting up a Create Your Own Bonnet in May, so customers can pick the fabrics they want.. Just send me a message so I can make sure I have enough of that fabric... I will post fabrics that can be used soon.  This option will be available with all bonnets.

How time has passed by so quickly.. I have been so busy with crocheting and sewing for up coming markets. Soon a break so I can get my sewing room in order once again.  And my computer and everything else that has been neglected in the past 6 months.
Things I have been working on...
Crochet mainly, sewing... and that is it. That is my life..

But the most important thing in my life is I just became a New Grandma... Cannot wait to go visit my little one.. As soon as these Christmas markets are over... I am gone... ya

Smaller version of the Bucket Hat

This little hat is for 6 months to a year, or more depending on the size head of your little one. It took a bit of work, but I managed to downsize the pattern and make a new one to fit smaller Children. Guess I could have purchased a pattern but it was much more fun creating my own. so this is my own design. I added an adjustable strap on this one so it cannot be easily removed by the loving little one that is suppose to wear it.

Oh Baby

This is what I created today. I have been thinking that I am in love with making baby things, I do enjoy sewing and this is a new love for me.  I really do like making purses and bags, but wow baby things are far more exciting for me. Please leave a comment and tell me what you think.

Spring has sprung in my yard. I am so excited to see what the summer will bring me this year. I tend to just toss the seeds on the ground and wait for what comes up.  This little crocus I did plant by bulb last year. Still very exciting to see it.

I have been busy crocheting while watching the Olympic Games, this is the latest infant hat that I have crochet. I created this pattern by combining 3 different patters to come up with one I like.  It crochets up quite fast and is quite easy. At the present time I am using Acrylic Yarn, but can use a more natural yarn on request. Go check it out.... I have a new site just crochet hats www.4pennygirl.etsy.com

I have been very busy sewing and crocheting. I have a schedule to keep as I am trying to get as much done right now so when spring come I can spend my time outside and in my garden. I turly enjoy sewing all day and crocheting in the evening. Lately I have been making infant toques... haha that is a Canadian term I found out.

Toque = Hat or Beanie. Here are a few of the hat's I have made. These hats will fit infants to about age 1.

New Year...

Well now it has been a long time since I have been on here, it will take some time for me to find my way around again, but I am going to give it a go. I have been very busy with Christmas, now it is time to get back at my sewing and things I love to make. I have been crocheting a lot lately and posting a few to my etsy site. One of my most favorite projects was a hooded scarf. This scarf is made of 50% Merino Wool and 50% Silk.

How time flies.

Wow it is September already. Time to take the garden out and clean up the yard. I have been very busy sewing and selling at the markets, but that is now slowing down to as the tourists are now all going home and they were my biggest customers. I will now have more time to spend on getting my etsy site back up and in working order. Looking very forward to the winter and my new creations. I will do some Christmas markets, but not to many. I need some quiet time.

I have been most busy sewing and selling my purses and other items at the farmers markets in the surrounding cities and towns that I live near by. The most amazing market is Cherryville market located along Highway #6 in BC, Canada, held on Saturday mornings from 9 - 1. Just a small quaint market with local vendors selling their produce from organic gardens. So amazing. There are other vendors there as well selling soy candles, beautiful blown glass necklaces, other jewelery, (I will have a better description next weekend along with a few pictures. Oh yes and live music, such tallent.
And then I sell in the Vernon, BC Farmers market on Thursdays. A much larget market, (not as much fun as Cherryville, but a good place to sell my purses.) again pic's next week.
My newest creation which sold this weekend in Cherryville.
So I guess I will have to make another... Thanks to all of you who read my blog. Hope someday I will have more time and make it better.

A new week

I have been very busy this past week. I do not seem to find time to write. I have recently been to 2 farmers markets selling my purses and other little items. Sales have picked up that is for sure. On Thursdays you can find me at the Vernon, BC farmers market and on Saturday I alternate between Lumby, BC and Cherryville, BC. This past weekend I was in Cherryville and I had sold 4 purses. Prior to that I was in Vernon on the Thursday and sold 2, then last night I sold 1 on etsy, so that makes a total of 7 purses the month of July. I need to get sewing..... I am very pleased with the response I have been getting at the markets. Makes it all worth while. Hey I even sold a purse to a man, did not realy think I had a man's purse, but one of my denim ones looked manly enough so he bought it and now he wants me to make another one for him. The pictures I am posting are some of the purses that sold.
