Lumby, BC Market

It is Saturday, and a beautiful day it is. Market day, I am off to the market to sell my purses and other items I sew. We are hoping for a busy day as usual. It is a small town along the #6 Highway in the sunny Okanagan. So if anyone reads this post please come and visit, you will recognize the purses. We get many tourists as it is along a beautiful highway, great for touring and riding a motorcycle. But be careful there are many deer along this highway.

We are having a very busy day planting flowers and trees.. I hope to be done soon as it finally hi 31 degrees c. (about 92 f in the shade) But we are loving it.

A beautiful day it is... sun is shinning, not sure what to do, sew or garden. Both need to be done.

Today I am going to try my hand at making a healing oil. I will be using Almond Oil and Heart Leaf Arnica which I have growing wild in my yard. This oil will be used to dab on sore muscles to ease the pain. We will see what turns out in 4 weeks.

Holiday is over, had a great time visiting my children, family and friends. Thanks to my brother for getting my laptop back in great working order, now I can get my work done. I am on my way home now, new materials in hand. New week...I am refreshed, Tuesday back to the drawing board.
